Fellow IPEA winner Jason Zide is also trackside in Monaco to talk about some of his experiences with the Academy. It's safe to say he's probably enjoying the experience. See if you can catch a glimpse of him at the Energy Station!
Also, we've had a few new videos come out!
Monaco is one of the most anticipated and prestigious races on the calendar. Set on the backdrop of the spectacular Côte d'Azur (French Riviera) and immense wealth, the beauty of the principality of
Monaco is genuinely staggering. The flavor and vibe of this place is unique, as is the street circuit for the race. Here is wildly different from other circuits due to its low speed corners and short straights, not to mention the narrowness. Not to be forgotten, the history is something legendary, dating back to 1929. It all adds up to something brilliantly special, beyond what is tangible.
Off track, the lifestyle is extraordinary, and the wealth is ever-present in the form of incredible yachts, cars, and superstars and magnates galavanting. For the race weekend, the Energy Station is the place to be. This is present at all of the European grands prix, but for Monaco, we set it on a barge.

Yeah, I'm sure Jason is doing okay.
Though I'm not there for the race, I had the fortune of going to Monaco with my good friend Cam back in 2010 when I studied abroad in Italy. It is a spectacular sight, whether it's race weekend or not. Figured I'd share some of my own experience, too!

Simply put, Monaco is a breathtaking place and a beautiful venue for a race. If you have the chance, go visit!

I will go back one day!
For now, you can catch the race on your respective local broadcasts. After a good qualifying, we've crept up into the second row of the grid with Ricciardo in 4th and Kvyat in 5th, sandwiched by the Ferraris. We're looking forward to an epic show!
